Our Programmes
The educational programmes at Teddies were created with our children’s needs in mind: to develop and grow in a safe yet stimulating environment. We divide our groups according to age and ability. Learn more about each programme.
Infants
This programme is aimed for infants aged from 3 months to 14 months. We find it important for children of this age to be given familiar care, therefore we try to maintain the child's home routine.
Our main focus in this programme is for the children to freely explore and learn in their activities in a safe space, which promotes their development, confidence and growth. The activities vary from music exploration, action songs and nursery rhymes, to sensory play involving sand play, water play, paint and play-dough all of which encourage creativity in the little ones.
Preschoolers
Here we have kids from 2 years up to school-age. Our objective with this group is to get the children holistically prepared for kindergarten. The children are introduced to more intellectual concepts like shapes, numbers and days of the week, while simultaneously maintaining the playfulness in the activities provided in the previous program.
We tend to follow a weekly theme around which our activities revolve, such as 'exploring science' involving science experiments or 'different professions' where we give the children the opportunity to dress up and be creative. The children also enjoy cooking activities, as well as role play and heuristic play, all of which spark interest which we trust the children will carry with them throughout the rest of their education journey.
Toddlers
This programme is for children aged 15 months to 2 years. Our aim with this age group is to encourage curiosity and exploration through selected experiences. Our daily routine is mostly the same order everyday which helps the kids feel secure.
We start with circle time in which the carers interact with every child and engage in nursery rhymes. The children are offered multiple learning activities with sensory activities including sand play and water play to introduce scientific concepts. The little ones also get to enjoy some fresh air with outdoor play, given the weather is nice, and story-time on a daily basis. These all contribute to nourishing the children's growth and development.
